April King, O.D.

Dr. King graduated with honors in 2003 from UAB with a Bachelor of Science degree. She then attended UAB School of Optometry, receiving her Doctor of Optometry and National Board Certification in 2007. She has enjoyed practicing in the Gadsden area ever since!
Dr. King is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Alabama Optometric Association.

Dr. King and her husband are longtime residents of Trussville. They have one daughter, who is currently a graduate student at UAB. In her leisure time, Dr. King enjoys attending UAB sporting events (basketball especially), reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.
